Our compact applicator systems are engineered to fit inside a 12-foot trailer, giving maintenance crews the mobility to perform coating and repair work both in-house and in the field. The system utilizes environmentally friendly, non-toxic powder coating technology that is approved for water and food-related applications, making it an ideal solution for protecting and restoring virtually any fixed steel or concrete structure.
“U-Coat Inc was created from a need in the protective coating industry for a portable Powder coating system providing mobility to apply a HOT-FLOCK protective Polymer coating system which could withstand the harsh corrosive environments (chemicals and salt) in various applications.
After graduating with a Degree in Business Marketing, my path took me overseas where I had the privilege of working for a Company specializing in custom PE Polymers, particularly for heavy-duty lining applications. In the initial years, I was immersed in their LAB with formulations which later allowed me to expand my know-how and practical application side in the field helping customers find solutions and improving processes with the formulated polymer systems.
Over a 10+ year span, I was able to travel to various countries, learning firsthand of various applications and challenges of corrosion where I could be directly involved in providing a solution. I had the opportunity to work in the UK, AUS, Germany, and spend time in South America (Brazil, Peru,) as well as Trinidad and Tobago. This experience has allowed me to make long-term relationships with customers and suppliers who I can call friends today.
After graduating with a degree in Economics in Europe, I focused on building strong international business relationships, which ultimately led to a successful partnership with TSE Industries, a respected Florida-based manufacturer specializing in raw urethane materials and finished components. I then took on the role of Managing Director for a newly established division dedicated to the development and production of custom-formulated polymer liner sheets for heavy-duty mining applications, including conveyors, chutes, hoppers, and specialized machine components.
I enjoyed building this division from the ground up, and after 10 successful years, my passion for the industry, combined with the experience and expertise gained along the way, inspired me to pursue a new venture. In 2011, I founded U-Coat Technologies Inc., a specialty coatings company focused on delivering innovative, solution-driven technologies. By combining extensive product knowledge with hands-on equipment expertise, the company was built around one core principle: providing customer-focused solutions tailored to the unique demands of each industry and application.
Parallel to opening U-Coat Inc, we formed IBIX Surface Technologies, in which we became 50% stakeholders to build and pursue the expansion of the IBIX WET Blasting systems for the Remediation / Restoration markets throughout North America.
Today, U-Coat Technologies Inc. continues to build on this foundation of global experience, hands-on expertise, and application-driven innovation. What began as a response to a clear industry need has evolved into a solutions-focused company dedicated to helping contractors and industrial partners tackle the most demanding corrosion and surface preparation challenges with confidence and efficiency.
